23 YEARS & COUNTING!
Since 1993, CANFIT has been at the heart of the movement to improve healthy eating and physical activity environments in low income communities and communities of color. From grassroots to government, we work with community-based and youth-serving organizations to identify local solutions and support the development of culturally competent policy and practices.
At CANFIT, we meet people where they are. We understand youth and ethnic cultures and know how to bring healthy eating and physical activity into the lives of young people and the communities they live in. We offer hands-on, culturally resonant consultation, training and technical assistance tailored to meet community needs.
